Please join us for a day of lure coursing, good food and good company!

When: Saturday, April 28, 9:00 am -- mid-afternoon
Where: Patuxent River Park

Directions: From Rt. 301: Turn on to Croom Station Road and continue for 1.6 miles, then turn left on to Croom Road (Route 382) for 1.5 miles, and make a left onto Croom Airport Road. Continue until road splits at a T, then turn right to the CBARRC event site.

General Info and What to Expect:
Everyone must sign in at the registration table upon arrival. Waivers must be signed and all events must be paid for before a dog will be allowed to participate.

Lure Coursing will be first on the agenda, starting at 9:00 am.
• $3 per dog per run for members
• $5 per dog per run for non members
• Dogs will be run on a first come, first served basis so sign in and pay for runs when you arrive. You will be given lure coursing tickets which you will then hand in to the person calling roll when it is your dog's turn to run.

Lure Coursing Rules:
• All dogs must remain leashed when not running the course
• No females in season, please
• Puppy runs (which are shorter runs) will be offered for dogs under 1 year
• Length and number of runs will be based on the age, health and interest shown from each dog running
• Everyone is responsible for picking up after their dog
• Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets so you have a comfy place to lounge in your down time.

Match will commence at 10:30 am (Certifications 10:00 am). If you do not register online for the match, late registrations need to be made NOT LATER THAN 10 am. All participants for the match should plan to be at the park no later than 9:30 am to fill out your waiver and make payment. If you’re not sure what the match is all about and whether or not your dog can participate, please contact Pat Wieland at wieland313@comcast.net:
• $3 per dog for early entry (pre-register online)
• $5 per dog for late entries on day of the match
• Dogs will be judged in the following order:
Dogs 4-6 months (puppy class)
Dogs 6-9 months (puppy class)
Dogs 9-12 months (puppy class)
Dogs 12-18 months (adult class)
Dogs Open (any age) (adult class)
Dogs for Exhibition Only (champions of record may enter here)
Same categories for bitches
Dogs and bitches from the puppy age brackets will compete for Best Puppy in Match.
Dog and bitches from the adult age brackets will complete for Best Adult in Match.

Parade of Rescue 11:30 pm

Lunch will take place from 12:00-1:00 pm
• Lunch will be available for purchase including side dishes, dessert and beverage. Vegan dishes will be available.
• The cost for lunch will be $7 for non-members, $5 for members (please buy a lunch ticket when registering).
• Donating a side dish or dessert will allow the provider to receive one free lunch. Please indicate your contribution during registration.

CBARRC Club Meeting
• The club meeting will take place during lunch (~12:30 pm)

Nosework Demo 1:00 pm, shortly after lunch for those interested.

Lure Coursing will resume at 2:00 pm.
